HIRG met with the Ministry of Health and WHO-Uganda to discuss the potential of an electronic health data capturing and sharing platform for Uganda — using malaria as a test disease model.
Stakeholders from the Ministry of Health, WHO-Uganda, and MakHIRG participated. The workshop explored how a coordinated platform could harmonise disease-surveillance data across multiple sources, support more timely clinical and public-health decision-making, and provide a foundation for additional disease modules in subsequent phases.
