National launch of the NIAMR project and its First National Community Engagement and Involvement, officiated by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health.
This national event formally launched the NIAMR project and opened its first structured community engagement. It was designed as more than a ceremony — a national strategic dialogue on the future of integrated AMR surveillance in Uganda, combining opening remarks from national and international leaders, a project overview from the research team, the official launch, and four sector-based breakout sessions to gather community and stakeholder requirements.
Purpose
- Formally launch NIAMR within Uganda's AMR, digital-health, One Health and health-security priorities.
